Honored for his leadership in developing first-class collaborations to produce award-winning campaigns, Lewis Williams is recognized amongst notable leaders in advertising, entertainment and art, both locally and abroad.

Other creatives listed include acclaimed filmmaker, Ava Duvernay, rapper Cardi B, and Jamal Dauda, Global Head of Music at WeTransfer, to name a few.

Williams is an award-winning creative leader and storyteller with extensive experience in total and multicultural marketing. As a thinker across platforms, including digital and traditional, he strives for both breakthrough and effective solutions.

Throughout his career, he has created work for major brands, such as McDonald’s, Toyota, Comcast XFINITY, Walmart, AARP, P&G, American Airlines, Budweiser, Walt Disney World, Allstate, Miller Lite and Verizon among others. Currently in his role of CCO of Burrell Communications, he leads a staff of 30 which includes creatives, producers, broadcast business and digital artists.

Continuing the winning momentum, Burrell Communications was named to AdAge’s 2018 Agency A-List, recognized by AdAge as the #1 agency targeting African Americans, and awarded Best Multicultural Campaign from Mediapost in the automotive category for Toyota.

The agency also received several awards and recognition for Comcast XFINITY, including the American Advertising Federation’s Mosaic Award, three wins at the 2018 FAXIES Awards (public affairs campaign, corporate social responsibility campaign and integrated marketing campaign), and the first-ever EMMA Wall of Distinction honoring companies with a proven commitment to excellence in multicultural marketing by winning the most EMMAs year-after-year since 2013.
