Timothy Olyphant, who recently wrapped on the filming of the limited series Justified: City Primeval in Chicago, has headed to New York to begin filming the HBO Max limited series Full Circle, from director Steven Soderbergh and writer Ed Solomon for HBO Max. Filming has begun
Soderbergh will direct all six episodes of the mystery crime drama series and serve as executive producer, with Solomon as writer and executive producer. Casey Silver is also an executive producer.
Olyphant is the most recent addition to the cast of the six-episode series along with previously announced cast members Dennis Quaid, Zazie Beetz and Claire Danes.
You can expect to see a lot of Olyphant on the small screen in the next few months. The FX limited series Justified: City Primeval is expected to air in the late fall of 2022 or early 2023. You’ll also find Olyphant in the Amazon Studios mini series Daisey Jones and the Six, and in the Netflix action thriller, Havoc where the streets of Cardiff Bay in Wales were transformed into snowy Americans streets for production.
Justified: City Primeval is a followup to the FX long-running hit Justified, and won two out of the eight Emmy Award nominations the show received, as well as a Peabody Award, and Olyphant won the Satellite Best Actor Award for the series in 2011. The series was based on Elmore Leonard’s novella Fire in the Hole, with Leonard consulting with the producers until his death in 2013. Olyphant plays U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens.
Olyphant’s other TV credits include the Disney+ series The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett, as well as FX hit series Fargo, and Netflix hit series Santa Clarita Diet. He has starred in films such as Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Live Free or Die Hard, The Crazies, and The Girl Next Door.
