IPA produces timely promo piece

WITH OUR 30% TAX CREDIT and MovieMaker Magazine crowning Chicago as the country’s top place for indie filmmaking, the release of the Illinois Production Alliance’s short promo is very timely.

IPA’s marketing committee chair Grace McPhillips produced “The Place to Make Your Movie ? Illinois,” with the objective to raise contributions for an IPA marketing campaign. (Joining the IPA would immenselyhelp the cause.)

Directed by the incomparable Bob Ebel and shot on the Red One by DP David Kessler, the sketch-style short features Second city mainstay Joe Canale as the young director who convinces Chuck Quinn as the producer to make it in Chicago. See
