While the agreements with Chicago Local 476 were still in place, a nationwide walk-out was looming at 12:01 a.m. Monday, if the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees (IATSE) and Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) had not reached a deal.
But the two parties have reportedly reached a tentative agreement on a new collective bargaining deal.
