DAN ABBATE’S GORILLA TANGO THEATER is launching Gorilla Tango TV, a series of shorts up to five minutes in length for the web and for a live event and screening on July 15. They’re taking pitches of films to produce (selected by online vote) and accepting submissions of completed films.
The audience at the screening will vote on the top five films to be featured on gorillatango.tv and to return for the following month’s live event. The Bucktown-based company is a live theatrical venue that presents a variety of performances by a diverse group of producers, directors, actors and writers Tuesday through Saturday nights.
