Flashpoint’s Howard Tullman receives honor from NU; an award to Film Wisconsin founders

HOWARD TULLMAN, FLASHPOINT ACADEMY’S CEO, received Northwestern Law School’s Distinguished Entprepreneur Award, at the Law School’s Small Business Opportunity Conference March 1 at Thorne Hall.

Tullman, who has a law degree, is also chairman/CEO of Experiencia and president emeritus of Kendall College among many other management and entrepreneurial achievements.

AN AWARD TO FILM WISCONSIN FOUNDERS ? the “Putting Wisconsin on the Map Award” — was presented by Wisconsin’s biggest film booster, Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton at the Governor’s Conference on Tourism in Lake Geneva.

Well-deserved recipients are George Tzougros, Dave Fantle and Scott Robbe, cited for their organization that is building awareness for Wisconsin within the film, TV and video game industry.

MUSICAL WRITER LYNN SANDERS and collaborators Chloe Bolan and Dave Flippo will perform a staged reading of their musical-in-progress “Amelia,” about legendary lost aviatrix Amelia Earhart.

“Amelia” is the culmination of three years of research and teamwork. Performance March 18 at the Theatre Building.
