Motion, Chicago’s largest, female-owned and operated creative communications agency has hired Joe Popa as its new Vice President, Design Director.
Popa will be a key leader within the design division of the agency’s creative department and assisting with clients across categories, including healthcare, manufacturing and retail.
Popa has over 25 years of experience leading creative teams, and most recently served as the Executive Creative Director at 88 Brand Partners where he led the department for over eight years. As a dynamic and energizing leader, Popa brings extensive knowledge of brand building, traffic driving and promotional campaigns to Motion. The team is excited to add Popa’s detail-oriented and highly skilled design mind to their award-winning team. Prior to 88 Brand Partners, Popa held positions at DraftFCB, Rivet, Plan B and Sponge.

Popa studied at Columbus College of Art & Design, receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Advertising and Design.
