Chicago Onscreen strives to be a filmmakers’ film festival. They introduce their audiences not just to some amazing local films, but they also celebrate and showcase the artists whose work makes each film possible.
Chicago Onscreen invites you to join them for screenings of their seventeen 2022 Official Selections, in parks across the city, and witness the intangible and instrumental connections that keep our city running on a human level.
From Directors and Producers to Writers, Cast, Wardrobe, Grips and more, the 17 Official Selections represent the work of dozens, if not hundreds, of Chicago creatives. Using boundless imagination, international collaboration and thoughtful storytelling, the Chicago Onscreen Class of 2022 has created a slate of films to add to their growing list of local films in local parks.
