The long-awaited first trailer for Ironheart was unveiled at D23, offering fans an exhilarating look at the upcoming Disney+ series. While Marvel Studios has yet to release the trailer online officially, eager attendees shared a leaked version on social media, giving the wider audience a glimpse into Riri Williams’ journey.

During the D23 event, Black Panther director Ryan Coogler joined the Ironheart cast, including Dominique Thorne, Anthony Ramos, Lyric Ross, Regan Aliyah, and Alden Ehrenreich, to introduce the series set to debut on Disney+ in 2025. Coogler, who is producing the show, provided insights into the action-packed narrative awaiting fans.

In the trailer, we see Riri Williams, portrayed by Dominique Thorne, return home to Chicago after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. She faces the daunting task of building her Iron Man armor without the resources of Wakanda.

This challenge leads her to MIT, where she unexpectedly allies with The Hood, played by Anthony Ramos. Riri’s collaboration with The Hood sees her joining his criminal gang to fulfill her ambition of creating the armor she’s always envisioned.

The series, partially filmed in Chicago, captures the vibrant energy and urban backdrop of the city, enhancing the story’s authenticity and connection to Riri’s roots.

The teaser hints at the demonic origins of Parker Robbins’ (The Hood) powers and gives a sneak peek at Ehrenreich’s mysterious character, speculated to be Ezekiel Stane, the son of Iron Man villain Obadiah Stane.
