WTTW will nationally host and air HMS Media’s Matt Hoffman and Scott Silberstein’s locally produced Pledge Month special over national PBS and Ch. 11 on March 11 at 6:30 p.m.

Their 90-minute show is “Under the Streetlamp,” which showcases the talented four-man vocal group who met during their run as “Jersey Boys,” the Tony Award-winning musical that ran for over two years at the Bank of America Theater.

The show went on to form a new group dedicated to what they refer to as “The Great American Radio Songbook,” a catalog of hits encompassing the best of doo-wop, rock ’n’ roll and Motown.

“Streetlamp” was filmed live in concert a the Star Plaza Theatre in Merrillville, with the quartet delivering an evening of unforgettable entertainment.

Classic songs include those from The Drifters, The Beach Boys, The Beatles and, of course. The Four Seasons, whom they credit and praise, along with the creative team and producers of “Jersey Boys” for allowing them the opportunity to come together and create this dynamic new ensemble.

HMS Media produced in collaboration with Under the Streetlamp founder Michael Ingersoll and executive producer/ manager Charlie Blum.  Hoffman directed the special, using seven cameras, jib and Steadicam, and edited the PBS and home video versions.

HMS’ long-time production and lighting design collaborator Todd Clark created the set and light design that would work for both the TV special and group’s upcoming national tour.

The four harmonic talents comprising “Under the Streetlamp” are Michael Cunio, Michael Ingersoll, Christopher Kale Jones and Shonn Wiley. They are accompanied by a band of seven elite musicians.
