Here is a full statement from Camera Ambassador founder and owner Erica Duffy:
“Per Governor Pritzker‘s new stay-at-home orders, non-essential businesses and operations may re-open to fulfill telephone and online orders through delivery and no-contact pick up.
Beginning May 1st, we are proud to offer curbside pick up of sanitized equipment rentals. We are taking every measure necessary with personal protective equipment and ramped up cleaning procedures so clients can have access to the gear they need to get back to creating.
By no means are we encouraging our clients to gather in large groups, as that remains unsafe at this time. We are, however, offering to fill small orders. We encourage our community to continue practicing social distancing procedures as they use our equipment to create at-home and minimal setups.
We have also taken this time to optimize our business so that it best serves and engages our community. We have built a new grip room, revamped our grip trucks, and have changed our approach to engage a quarantined audience. This includes video interviews with filmmakers, special offers, upcoming online challenges, and extending the deadline for our Community Builders Grant.
This time has been difficult on all of us. But it is our pleasure to take all the necessary precautions so that our industry can begin to recover from this time. Whether you have a passion project you wrote during quarantine or clients who need new content, we have equipment ready for you.
Looking forward to hearing from you via email (mailto:rentals@cameraambassador.com) or phone (tel:773-792-6522)”
