The Chicago comedy short, “Campus Cops,” will be in the right place when it screens among the 70 selections at the L.A. Comedy Shorts Festival April 15-18 — the largest event of its kind in the U.S.
The 8-minute short was produced by Optimus One’s L.A.-based director, Alex Beh, and agency producer Nathan Brown, who directed with his brother, Matt Brown.
This weekend at the festival, Nathan Brown, who produces Motorola visual media for his agency, Wirestone, a branch of a national agency based in Boise, Idaho, will unite with his L.A.-based, brother, a production assistant at DreamWorks Animation, currently on “Kung Fu Panda II.”
Brown describes the scene as “a hilarious confrontation between an innocent college student riding his bike across campus and a pair of over-zealous campus security guards who claim he violated the school’s bicycle laws.”
