Broadview gives an old show a new look

A new version and a new season of HDTV’s popular before-and-after “New Spaces” bows Oct. 1 (7:30 p.m. local time), the first of 26 shows produced by Broadview Media.

The show also got a new face in host Jessica York, an actress from Portland, Me. She replaces Jim Parks.

Last December HGTV asked Broadview to give the show a face lift. “We decided to follow the trail of personality-driven shows,” says Broadview’s Rich Hawksworth, “and let the homemakers have more involvement in the remodeling effort.”

Credits: Producer, Michelle Willman, formerly with Towers Productions; producer/writer Bridget Sarno and Todd Pflughoeft, who came over from Kurtis Productions; editor Brent Hannigan editor; sound mixer Brian Callaghan and executive producer Bonnie Hawksworth.
