Chris Evans, and
will headline the
event at Navy Pier
(Chicago — 1 October 2018) Don Cheadle (War Machine), Chris Evans (Captain America), and Tom Hiddleston (Loki) — stars of the worldwide hit Avengers film franchise — are headlining ACE Comic Con Midwest at Chicago’s Navy Pier, October 12-14.
The announcement made yesterday by ACE Universe follows a massive social media push from enthusiasts demanding that the media company bring it’s “A-game” to the event.
“Our fans in the Midwest have been bombarding our social media … and we have responded in the biggest way possible,” says Stephen Shamus, ACE Universe President. “This trio kicked-off and set the stage and tone for Marvel’s multi-billion-dollar global franchise film, Avengers: Infinity War.”
Other weekend appearances will include Zazie Beetz (Domino), Tom Ellis (Lucifer), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlet Witch), Lee Pace (Ronan the Accuser), Karen Gillan (Nebula), and Matt Smith (The Eleventh Doctor).
WWE in the house
WWE fans will also have the opportunity to meet The Bella Twins, Seth Rollins, and Alexa Bliss, and the event will feature live panel programming moderated by Brian Posehn, Angélique Roché, and Lilian Garcia throughout the weekend.
Posehn will also perform a comedy set on Friday night free to all Friday ACE attendees.
VIP Admissions, Photo Ops, Autographs, and General Admission tickets are on sale now via www.acecomiccon.com.
In addition to celebrity appearances, the event will feature world-renowned comic writers and artists, hand-picked vendors and exhibitors, and 30 hours of live panel programming across multiple stages throughout the weekend.
Guests can also enjoy free activations from Microsoft, Mad Monster, T-Mobile, Sleeping Giant, and more.
Besides continuing a record-setting year for ACE Comic Con’s national attendance totals, the Midwest event is also rewarding for ACE Universe CEO Gareb Shamus on a personal level.
“Chicago is where it all started for my family and me, and was my Comic Con home for over 20 years,” he says. “When we had a chance to go to the Navy Pier, it was our dream come true. The fans of Chicago and the community we built deserve the greatest lineup of superheroes ever, and that’s what we will deliver.”
Stay tuned as ACE Universe will announce additional guests, future dates, cities, and ticket information at www.acecomiccon.com and on the ACE Comic Con social channels — Facebook.com/acecomiccon, @acecomiccon, Instagram, and Twitter.
