Leading healthcare advertising and marketing firm AbelsonTaylor Group has selected eight 2025 college graduates and one rising senior for this year’s nextgenerATion summer internship program. Through the program, interns will gain practical experience in one of advertising’s most significant business sectors.
“We’ve seen a surge of students eager to explore advertising careers in pharma, biotech, medical device, and other life science industries,” said Jeff Berg, President of AbelsonTaylor Group. “Our nextgenerATion program provides valuable, real-world experience in this specialized sector and significantly expands the skills and credentials of our participants.”
He added that the program also benefits the agency by exposing employees to the perspectives of fresh new talent and aiding the company in identifying potential new hires. Over the past three years, AbelsonTaylor Group has extended full-time job offers to 28 percent of its summer interns.

The agency’s 2025 nextgenerATion interns are Gabrielle Baffes, St. Ambrose University, Account Management Intern; Stephanie Cochlan, University of Arizona, Planning Intern; Allison Coyne, Indiana University, Marketing Intelligence Intern; Asia Crumb, Columbia College Chicago, Graphic Design Intern; Mariana Chavez Jimenez, Loyola University, Art Direction Intern; Austin Krzysik, Loyola University, Production Intern; Foster Milburn, Texas State University, Engagement Strategy Intern; Cecelia Olson, Loyola University, Copywriter Intern; and Kaleigh Zollman, University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Project Management Intern.
Interns work with staff teams on actual client accounts and ad hoc projects in addition to collaborating on a mock campaign that they present to agency leaders at the end of the program. Each nextgenerATion intern is assigned to a department but exposed to the operations of the full company. This includes meetings with department heads to provide an overview of AbelsonTaylor Group’s history, organization, capabilities and culture. Interns also celebrate with the full staff at AbelsonTaylor Group’s annual summer party.
The internship program is led by Beth Bogacz, Senior Vice President of People Experience at AbelsonTaylor Group. “NextgenerATion creates a culture that champions curiosity, supports talent development, and values diverse perspectives,” she said. “It’s designed to be immersive, inclusive, and growth-focused, empowering interns to expand their skills and form meaningful connections that help shape their future careers.”
