Peacock announces Chicago-set All Her Fault, starring Sarah Snook

All Her Fault

Emmy Award-winning actress Sarah Snook headlines the highly anticipated Peacock thriller series All Her Fault, set in Chicago. Production has been ongoing at Docklands Studios Melbourne, utilizing cutting-edge virtual production technology to seamlessly blend Chicago-filmed exterior scenes with studio filming in Australia.

NBCUniversal’s Upfront event kicked off with a showstopping performance by Seth MacFarlane (“Ted”) and included a parade of Peacock stars, including Elizabeth Banks (The Miniature Wife), Keke Palmer (The Burbs), Dakota Fanning (All Her Fault) and Amy Poehler (Dig) — touting their previously announced series.

All Her Fault, adapted from Andrea Mara’s bestselling novel, follows Marissa Irvine (Snook) as her life spirals into chaos after a routine playdate ends in every parent’s worst nightmare—her son Milo disappears from the home of an unfamiliar woman.

Joining Snook is a stellar cast, including Dakota Fanning, Jake Lacy, The Bear’s Abby Elliott, Sophia Lillis, and Michael Peña. Renowned directors Minkie Spiro (3 Body Problem, Downton Abbey) and Emmy-nominated Victorian director Kate Dennis (The Handmaid’s Tale, The Serpent Queen) helm the project.

Minister for Creative Industries Colin Brooks and VicScreen CEO Caroline Pitcher recently visited Snook and Executive Producer Christine Sacani on the set, highlighting the significant investment in the project by the Victorian Screen Incentive. This production has generated over 2,000 jobs, supported 435 local businesses, and contributed more than $70 million to the Victorian economy.

The series is written and executive produced by Megan Gallagher alongside executive producers Nigel Marchant, Gareth Neame, Joanna Strevens, Jennifer Gabler Rawlings, Christine Sacani, producer Terry Gould, and associate producer Andrea Mara. Produced by Carnival Films, part of Universal International Studios, All Her Fault joins other high-profile projects recently completed at Docklands Studios, including Lionsgate’s War Machine and Sony Pictures’ Beneath the Storm.

Snook expressed excitement about filming in Melbourne and commended the production’s sustainability efforts. Mark Binke, Executive Vice President of Production Operations at UCP, highlighted VicScreen’s integral role in enhancing local crew skills, particularly in virtual production techniques.

I feel so excited about being able to work in Melbourne again. The industry we have here, across all departments of cast and crew, is world-class.”
