Lightswitch Video announces the appointment of Bryce Anderson as its new chief executive officer. Anderson, one of the founders who currently serves as Lightswitch’s chief revenue officer, will replace Lynette Schwanger, who is stepping down to pursue new educational opportunities, effective on June 2.
Co-founder Nat Seidel, who will serve as both chief operating officer and head of production, had this to say, “Lynette leaving is a major milestone for Lightswitch, she has done so much to shepherd this company into what it is today, from a modest start with small scale video into a creative powerhouse. I am both sad and proud in this moment as she takes on new challenges. I’ll miss her partnership, but am excited to see how she will shape the world in her new adventures.”
Anderson co-founded Lightswitch Video with Schwanger and Seidel. After attending the University of Iowa, he transitioned into media sales, and has served as Lightswitch’s Head of Sales for over a decade. He has been an integral part of bringing on enterprise level clients and continuing to grow the size of projects.
“I want to thank Lynette for laying a strong foundation, forging invaluable relationships and delivering a body of work that has defined our success. I feel better about the future of our world’s climate knowing she’s working on it,” said Anderson. “It is an honor to be entrusted with guiding Lightswitch Video into its next chapter. Nat, our team and I will get to work immediately, continuing to delight our clients and pursue the bold ambitions we’ve set for the future. I can’t wait.
Anderson and Seidel will continue Lightswitch’s mission to help in-house creative teams and agencies produce amazing videos, anywhere in the world, through one powerful partner.
Schwanger will exit her role as CEO to pursue her Master’s degree in Ecosystem Science and Sustainability at Colorado State University: “It’s hard to put into words how much my time at Lightswitch has meant to me – it marks the close of a chapter that has shaped so much of my career and life. Lightswitch has been my professional foundation, and I’m so proud of what we’ve built together – a creative, collaborative, and truly resilient team that has delivered exceptional work across countless stories, brands, and industries.”
She expressed confidence in the future of the company, stating, “While transitions are never easy, I leave knowing the company is well-positioned for continued growth and success. The leadership team is more than ready to guide Lightswitch into its next era, and I have absolute confidence in their vision and capability.”
