Well, this should have people pounding on Laughlin Constable’s door.
The agency, which bills in excess of $280 million, was named one of Chicago’s “Best Places to Work” in 2018 by Crain’s Chicago Business. The Crain’s Chicago Best Places to Work program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the 100 best companies to work for in Chicago. Thousands of Chicagoland employees were surveyed on topics including: leadership and planning, corporate culture, role satisfaction, work environment, training, development and more.
So what makes one of the 4A’s Top 25 independent integrated advertising agency so great? According to Mat Lignel, President and CEO, it comes down to having a positive workplace culture (believe me some of the agencies I’ve worked at could have used that. You know whom I’m talking about), professional development, continuing education funds and volunteer opportunities. It’s all designed to help the LC staff flourish.
“This recognition is a testament to our incredible LC team,” said Lignel. “While we’re dedicated to bringing our clients from ‘now to next,’ we’re equally as invested in our employees’ futures and recognizing their personal and professional achievements, That’s what’s great about being an independent company, and that’s the LC way.”
The workplace culture, which covers offices in Chicago and Milwaukee, highlights detailed in the nomination process were Laughlin Constable’s employee benefits, fun internal programming, career development opportunities and unlimited PTO.
“Our Leadership Development and LC Gives Back programs are ways we continue to invest in our employees and our community,” said Heather Anglim, executive vice president of human resources. “Our Griffins are the key to our success, and we value the exceptional work they do every day.”
Laughlin Constable was the only ad agency that Reel Chicago saw on the list which says a lot since there are many great ad agencies in Chicago. To see the full list, click here.
