John Noble to grow L.A. house’s commercial division

AGENCY/PRODUCTION VETERAN JOHN NOBLE will be doing some serious traveling on behalf of L.A.-based The Traveling Picture Show Company (TPSC), which he joined last month as a partner and executive producer heading the commercial production division.

Noble says he will be a steady customer of Virgin Airlines as he commutes from Chicago to L.A. in his new position for at least a year, until his daughter has finished high school a move to the West Coast will be considered.

Year-old TPSC produces features, TV shows, commercials, visual effects, branded content and digital media.  Noble’s mandate is grow TPSC’s commercial division by building their directorial roster and seeking new business from national ad agencies.

“I am focused on helping the company reach its full potential as a competitive national player,” Noble says.  TPSC presently represents six directors.

After holding several top agency EP positions, Noble had been EP/managing director at One at Optiumus director for three years.  Upon leaving in September, 2011, the following January he joined New York-based Eyeball, a graphics/design company that announced it would open a Chicago office that never materialized. 

“Then this opportunity opened up to join a growing company,” Noble said of his new position.
