Direct Spotlight Media, a company co-founded by Brian Perraud, one of five Chicagoans who competed to direct a 2004 Project Greenlight feature, produced the latest in its growing series of branded entertainment shows for TV and the web.
January 2005 Playboy Cybergirl of the Month Amy McCarthy hosts the spec pilot for “Aces!”, a trivia game show, sponsored by free betting site Aces.tv.
The show is designed to direct traffic to Aces.tv, the free mirror version of pay gambling site Aces.com. (The FCC has banned direct solicitation for domestic pay gambling sites.)
