NBC Universal has renewed Dick Wolf’s currently longest-running series and its most recent entrée. Order: SVU,” filmed in New York, and “Chicago Med,” filmed here have been renewed for another reason.
Here’s a good start to the New Year of media and entertainment in Chicago. Dick Wolf’s latest franchise, “Chicago Med,” will have an 18 episode first season, having received a five-episode back order from NBC.
There will be more than one doctor in the house when NBC’s “Chicago Med” series settles into Chicago this summer to film alongside two Dick Wolf’s two other Chicago-set series at Cinespace.
