Two agencies are changing their addresses to Chicago

London-headquartered advertising tech agency, The Exchange Lab, has opened a Chicago area office in Elmhurst.  It’s headed by Giorgio Campo, senior director of Central US sales, who joined from MediaMath.  The agency says it’s looking to hire four new employees by the end of the year.

Tech boosters Mayor Emanuel and Howard Tullman will be glad to know of The Exchange Lab’s high regard for our city.  “Chicago leads the media market in the US alongside New York and Boston as more and more global brands establish a presence there,” said Mark Charkin, The Exchange Lab’s chief revenue officer.

This is Exchange Lab’s third US office; New York and San Francisco offices opened last November.  It recently received $8 million in funding from London banking sources.

Huron.  “We’ve outgrown both of our greater Chicago locations,” says president/CEO Matt Murphy.  Our recruiting needs continue to expand and we need to be where the talent is.”

Current number of employees is 38 and a significant number of new hires will be added throughout 2014.

The company has an inhouse facility: sound, video and digital production studios, editing suites, a sound stage and data center.  Clients include McDonald’s, H&R Block, Bosch Tools and AT&T.
