Mila Kunis (Jupiter) in space

A trailer for “Jupiter Ascending,” the Wachowskis latest action/adventure sci-fi epic, gives you a mouth-agape look at what is possibly their most jammed-packed visual effects epic out of their 22 films, to date.

Siblings Lana and Andy Wachowski wrote, produced and directed the dystopian (of course) story, their first original project together since “The Matrix.”  They shot here from June through October at Cinespace and on locations in and around the city.

It stars Channing Tatum as a genetically engineered ex-military hunter and Mila Kunis, the eponymous Jupiter whose extraordinary inheritance could alter the balance of the cosmos!!!

Postproduction at their highly-secretive Kinowerks in Ravenswood; release date, July 24, 2014.

And now, ladies and gentlemen, hold on, here it is … The. Trailer!
