RHG, ShiftFocus, Red Car team wins ad spot contest

RHG Creative, the small agency powered by former big agency pros, won the $1,000 grand prize in the Chicago Craft Beer Advertising Competition for the best commercial for a local brewery.

The prize spot for 5 Rabbits Brewery in Wicker Park was created by RHG Creative, produced by ShftFocus Productions and edited by Red Car.  It was one of 34 entrants.

Brewers announced the teams they wanted to produce their spots at Rosa’s Lounge in Logan Square last April.  The teams tapped had a month to deliver their spots to the breweries.

The first round of entries screened May 29 at the Double Door, judged by a panel from Digitas, Ogilvy and the Portfolio Center, which deemed RHG’s spot grand prize-worthy.
