Orbis’ big and always-busy sound stage and smaller insert stage (left) met their fate at the end of a wrecking ball Friday (right) when they were demolished to make room for?surprise!?a new condo development in the midst of three new and nearby condo developments.
One of the tenants in the still-untouched Orbis office building said tenants were not notified of the impending demolition, and the unexpected impact of the wrecking ball was akin to “a major earthquake.” New owners of the property promised improvements to the existing office space.
