A 2013 CANNES LION triple Grand Prix film will be presented here Wednesday by sales rep Tracy Bernard, on behalf of her client, B Reel, which produced the hourlong episodic film, “The Beauty Inside,” for client Intel and San Francisco agency Pereira & O’Dell.
B Reel’s founding owners, Pelle Nilsson and Petter Westlund from Stockholm, now living in LA, will host the event at the James Hotel. For the past year, Bernard has represented the company with offices in Stockholm, New York, Los Angeles, Barcelona and London.
As Bernard describes the film, a man wakes up every morning to discover he looks like someone else, but while “you can change the outside of yourself, the beauty comes from inside, from who are and that’s the theme of the film.”
Three hundred people from 13 countries auditioned via Skype to have their likenesses in the film, directed by Drake Doremus, who helms features – his “Breathe” will be released in November — and commercials.
Bernard says the event is open to all who wish to attend. Reception at 6 p.m., presentation at 7, at the James, 55 E. Ontario.

Donors will receive a voucher for a free half-hour headshot session (one look) with a local photographer, redeemable by Dec. 15. Flu shots available 3-5 p.m. on a first come, first shot basis.
