February 10
- AFTRA/SAG SENIOR RADIO PLAYERS treat the audience to what the Golden Age of Radio was like, with the mystery drama, “Mr. District Attorney,” directed by Bob Baron, original broadcast date unknown, and the comedy, “My Favorite Husband,” directed by Connie Foster, originally starring Lucille Ball aired in 1950.
At the Claudia Cassidy Theatre at the Cultural Center; doors open at 6:30 p.m., show at 7. Free and open to all.
February 16
- CHICAGO SCRIPTWORKS reading is “The Lost Brigade,” a WWII drama by L.A.-based Paul Guilo about a group of black soldiers who lobby for the right to fight, but find themselves having to prove themselves on the German front.

- REELTIME PRESENTS “Radical Disciple: The Story of Father Pfleger,” a documentary from Evanston filmmaker Bob Hercules of Media Process group, about the controversial priest of Chicago’s St. Sabina Church.
At Mary and Leigh Block Museum of Art at Northwestern, Evanston, 7 p.m. The filmmaker will be present.
February 20
- “WRITING IN THE TRENCHES AND HOW TO GET SOLD” is the topic of Sterling Anderson’s Feb. 20-Feb. 21 all-day seminars. Anderson has written for “Six Feet Under,” “The Unit” and other top TV shows and will mostly talk about writing dramatic TV shows. Space limited to 50 participants.

- FACETS FILM SCHOOL Winter Session starts with “The Musical in Transition: the’70s and ‘80s,” led by Facets’ instructor Patrick Friel. Films screened during the series: “Saturday Night Fever,” “All that Jazz,” “Popeye,” “One from the Heart,” “Pennies from Heaven” and “Absolute Beginners.”

- CHICAGO SCREENWRITERS NETWORK will hear new Northwestern screenwriting teacher Heather E. Asche, who has written several “Stargate SG-1” episodes and will talk about her approaches to one-hour dramas and the state of women in television.
