The Distinguished Service to the Arts Award will be presented by Lawyers for the Creative Arts to the entertainment law firm of Leavens Strand & Glover on Oct 27 at LCA’s Annual Benefit Lunch in the Empire Room at the Palmer House.

Each year, LCA presents this award to individuals and organizations who have had a profound impact on the development of arts and culture in Chicago.

“The Leavens Strand & Glover lawyers have a natural affinity to artists. They are themselves active artists. They understand the difficulties artists face, and they take pleasure in helping them succeed,” said LCA Executive Director Jan Feldman in announcing the honor.

This is the law firm’s second award that was announced this month. The Best Lawyers Magazine’s 2017 “Best Lawyers of the Year” named LSG partner Jerry Glover Best Lawyer-Entertainment Law, for the second time and Linda Mensch, who joined the firm this summer, Best Lawyer- Music, for the third time. LSG partners Tom Leavens and Peter Strand also were named to the Best Lawyer List.
