Laughlin Constable’s campaign for Bay Area hospital

For client El Camino Hospital serving the South San Francisco Bay Area’s highly competitive healthcare market for for more than 50 years, Laughlin Constable created a new integrated campaign that redefines what it means to be a community hospital.

Using patient stories to illustrate various areas of specialties, the campaign consists of TV spots currently running in San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose through the end of the year, along with radio, online spots and print advertising that will run into next year, along with radio and online spots and print advertising.

The campaign focuses on general branding for El Camino Hospital and highlight healthcare services such as heart and vascular, cancer, orthopedics, urology and robotics, neonatal intensive care and mental health.

The agency’s CCO Rich Kohnke, VP/ECD Ross Lowinski, CD Steve Drifka and copywriter Brian Sterricker created the campaign, produced by George Phillips.

Production company was The Calvary Productions of LA whose Travis Hanour directed and shot in the Bay Area; Wonder Wonder edited.

Laughlin Constable is providing the hospital with market research, strategic planning, advertising, public relations, website project management and social media strategy.

Northwestern Medicine is also on the agency’s client roster, which includes Wisconsin Dept. of Tourism, Sears Holdings, Lung Cancer Alliance, MillerCoors, Acuity Insurance, Jewelers Mutual, Paris Presents, Palermo Villa and Bright Start/Oppenheimer Funds.
