Hundreds of 16MM films for sale in Pilsen this weekend

HUNDREDS OF 16 MM FILMS are being sold this weekend, Feb. 5-6, by Chicago Film Archives, to make room for new collections. More than 650 16mm films, in black & white and color, some new, old, are for sale starting at $5.
 
On sale are many multi-episode series, including such retro and nostalgic gems as “Roots,” “Rudolph, the Red Nosed Reindeer,” “The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari,” “Life and Times of Rosie the Riveter,” “Strange Fruit,” “Van Gogh: A Self Portrait.” 
Movies from Disney, docs and educational films, such as “Studs Terkel Chicago,” and loads more are in this mammoth clearance.
